Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 12, 2026

Overview

Mini is a self-hosted tool. Your data stays on your hardware. This privacy policy explains what information we collect (almost none) and how the software operates with respect to your data.

Data We Collect

Mini does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. The CLI and web dashboard run entirely on your local machine. We do not have analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels, or any form of phone-home functionality. Your services, configurations, logs, and credentials never leave your hardware.

Cloudflare Integration

When you use Cloudflare Tunnels through Mini, traffic between your users and your Mac Mini flows through Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare may collect data according to their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing Cloudflare's privacy policy to understand how they handle traffic data.

Website

The Mini marketing website (minicli.site) is a static site. We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics services, or any third-party scripts that collect visitor data. The only cookie used is a session cookie for dashboard authentication, which is stored locally and never transmitted to us.

Open Source Transparency

Mini is fully open-source under the MIT license. You can audit every line of code to verify our privacy claims. We believe this is the strongest privacy guarantee possible — you don't have to trust us, you can verify.

Children's Privacy

Mini is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated revision date.
